Additional Rösle Tea Strainer, Fine Mesh Information
|
This tiny strainer holds back even the smallest particles of sediment. The mesh is exceedingly fine and tightly woven, resembling a sheer metallic cloth???it looks delicate, but it's actually quite strong. The double-rod stainless steel handle stays cool to the touch even when the bowl is resting in hot liquid; a squared loop of the same stainless steel keeps the bowl in place. Use this strainer for tea and other infusions, for clarifying a small amount of liquid, or for that occasional glass of wine into which a little cork has fallen.

What Customers Say About Rösle Tea Strainer, Fine Mesh:
|
|
As with every Rosle product I have ever bought, this is top quality. I justify the expense by knowing that I will most likely never have to buy the same utensil again. It looks elegant too, assuming you don't dislike modern design.
The handle and lip are neatly and securely welded to the main part of the strainer. I'll be using it mostly to keep ice shards out of my martinis. It is made of stainless steel throughout, so it won't rust away like my previous strainer.
Even though it's a tea strainer, it's about the right size for use as a general purpose sieve. (The other reviewer who said it was poor quality appears to be motivated by a bias against Chinese-made products). The design makes for secure placement on top of a tea cup, so you don't have to hold the strainer while you are pouring the tea.
Rosle utensils ARE expensive.
Regular tea leaves are no problem. The Stainless steel is easy to maintain but industrial looking. A very fine mesh strainer and well made. The Rosle tea strainer is as advertised. Not particulary attractive as a table accessory. All but the finest bits of some ground English Breakfast Tea were caught in the strainer. This particular tea blows right through an infuser basket. The price for this item is very steep for what you get. A table caddy with a drip tray might make it a better value.A lot fo a little strainrr.
This item although expressly and impliedly advertised that it is Made in Germany is actually made in China. The item is generally of a very poor quality. I would not buy it for the price advertised and I am trying to get my money back
